In Hitachi Rail we are looking for a talented IVVQ Engineer to join our team and help drive our innovative projects!
Reporting to the System Engineering Manager, the IVVQ Engineer is responsible for deploying, integrating, and testing the RCS Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system Level 1 devices on both test and production platforms. This role includes maintaining the platforms of Automatic fare collection projects, covering aspects from network management and virtualization tools to AFC operation software.
What your responsibilities will be?
Support the technical site manager and lead the software deployment and upgrades of all AFC L1 devices and back-office systems, including Metro Gates, Ticket Vending Machines (TVM), Ticket Office Machines (TOM), Tram Validators, Car Park equipment barriers, cash registers, and back-office software.
Maintain and optimize the IVVQ platform(s) of the project.
Participate in system integration activities.
Be involved in the qualification of the system architecture of the project solution.
Administer the integration platform and support the development platform.
Deploy all necessary tools to monitor and troubleshoot the platform.
Manage and support the test team/IVVQ in the installation and configuration of various services, device software updates, and upgrades.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding services/solutions and follow-up.

Network and interface design
Who are you?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in complex system integration
Rail experience and specifically Automatic Fare Collection System card and account based systems is a must.
Configuration management tools.
You shall have experience on the upgradation of server/workstations for operational systems
Linux, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Active Directory and VMWare (VCP will be an advantage) skills.
We will value if you are certified in Agile and you have Networking knowledge.
