My everyday...
Every day, I ensure that every new or upgraded signalling system is backed by a comprehensive feasibility study that gives customers an exact view of how it will impact their network operations – for the better.
Every factor and every detail is considered and rigorously assessed through a technical, safety, and cost/benefit lens – whether it’s a new interlocking system for an urban rail network or an innovative signalling for a remote heavy haul network.
I am proud to play an end-to-end role in these feasibility studies and draw on my experience in delivering signalling and telecommunications projects across the length and breadth of Australia to ensure our customers make their decisions with confidence.
How I make a difference
My proudest moments are when I see the solution I’ve presented on paper translate into real-life improvements to the performance of a customer’s network and a tangible return on investment.
Our customer’s success is our success. Everything we do aims to create value by making their rail network operations safer and more efficient.
My STEM Journey
When I was younger, I always loved science and math; luckily, I was also very good at them! From there, my parents really encouraged and supported me to pursue a career in engineering.
I love that I now have such a rewarding career, surrounded by opportunities to continue to learn and grow, due to the evolving technologies the world of engineering offers.
Every day I get a sense of achievement from playing a part in contributing to society by creating ethical solutions for people across Australia.
