Christophe Gourlay | Hitachi Rail

Christophe Gourlay serves as Chief Procurement Officer at Hitachi Rail, based in Vélizy, France. As a member of the Global Leadership Team, he brings over three decades of international experience across the industrial and transportation sectors.

Before joining Hitachi Rail, Christophe held the role of Chief Procurement Officer at Alstom, where he led strategic procurement transformation initiatives. His career spans leadership positions in project management, operations, account management, and general management across Europe, Australia, and Asia.

He holds a degree in electronic engineering from the National School of Electronics and its Applications (ENSEA) near Paris. Christophe’s deep expertise in procurement, operations, and international business is instrumental in driving Hitachi Rail’s continued growth and operational excellence.
