Jean-Baptiste Eymeoud | Hitachi Rail

Jean-Baptiste Eymeoud joined Hitachi Rail in January 2026 as Chief Markets Officer and is based in Vélizy, France. He brings over two decades of experience in executive leadership, sales, and strategic transformation within the rail industry.

Most recently, he served as President of Alstom France, overseeing operations across sales, engineering, production, and key customer relationships. Prior to this, Jean-Baptiste held senior leadership roles at Bombardier, including President of the Rolling Stock Division for Western Europe and President Services, as well as earlier positions at Alstom Transport in Europe and Asia.

He holds a master’s degree from École Centrale Paris and a finance specialisation from ESCEM.
