Brief task description
• Manage, monitor, and coordinate repair activities (Signaling, Telecommunications, Power Supply) for railway projects during the warranty period.
• Oversee and handle incident management processes (Signaling, Telecommunications, Power Supply) for railway warranty projects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Supervise repair works and corrective actions under active customer service contracts.
• Lead incident response efforts within customer service agreements, guaranteeing compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Act as primary liaison with MLS for warranty and service projects, managing repairs, incidents, monthly reporting, and participation in coordination meetings.
• Interface with Hitachi Rail entities for the management and reporting of repairs and incidents related to warranty and customer service contracts.
• Oversee subcontractors and equipment/material suppliers for the execution of repairs and incident management within both warranty and customer service frameworks.
• Ensure application, compliance, and continuous improvement of Hitachi Rail GTS Romania's processes and procedures for warranty and service projects in the Signaling, Telecommunications, and Power Supply areas.
• Develop and enhance technical skills and competencies within the Customer Service team.
• Ensure overall management, strategic monitoring, and performance control of warranty and customer service activities across all technical domains (Signaling, Telecommunications, Power Supply) within Hitachi Rail GTS Romania.
• Promote the growth of management, technical, monitoring, and control competencies within the Customer Service team.
• Foster effective collaboration and communication with various internal departments at Hitachi Rail GTS Romania.
• Provide technical and administrative support for customer service and warranty tenders, including offer preparation and documentation.
We are looking for an outstanding applicant who can demonstrate the following qualities:
Professional competency
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Railway Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred tools and methods:
• Advanced knowledge of work with PC- Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Outlook, MS project)
Personal competencies:
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to deal professionally with difficult individuals and problematic situations, win-win approach and result oriented
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, who is also a team player
• Strong organizational ability and problem-solving capability
Languages:
• English (very good reading and writing)
